| I am researching the ancestors of Rueben Augustus Day, born 9/30/1849 in Cornwall, 6 Mile Hudson, New York. died: 9/17/1922 in Johnstown, Pa. He married Helen Granger Laird on 6/12/1879. His parents were Alfred Day born 1815 in New York and Jane Avery born 1820. Jane was the daughter of Enos Avery and Phoebe. Rueben's death certificate says that his mother was "Jane Custer". I can find no proof that this is true. If anyone has any information on this family, please contact me. |
