The Giles C. Dunbar Family Home Page

I am researching the Dunbar, Robley, and Liles families. Giles C. Dunbar was born in VA about 1826. His family then moved to NC in the early 1840's. He was later found in Henry County TN and Madison County TN. He was Postmaster at Harrisburg, TN in 1872. We lose him there. His son, William Henry, stayed in Madison County TN and married Susan E. Robley. Susan's family moved to Madison County from Roan County in North Carolina in 1830. They settled in the Harrisburg community. Her father, John Robley, and Ellen Black Robley were prominent farmers and storekeepers. Giles C. Dunbar's wife was Elizabeth J. Lyles who was thought to have been born in GA . Need assistance on any and all of my known ancestors. Thanks to all.
