| I am searching for family ancestry from Italy. Most came to America in the mid to late 1800's. Surnames of Mazzarelli, Fonte, Bigica (spelling may be Buggica or Bugicca), Amorelli, Comparetto, Galasso, most of who came in at Ellis Island and then came to Tampa, Florida. Giovanni AKA John M. Mazzarelli was a professor of music in Tampa in the 1930's & 1940's. My father, Peter (Pietro) Mazzarelli said that Giovanni (his father) played in the queens court in Italy. I do not know if this was true or not. Anyone having any information regarding this family, please email me. Thank you. |
