| 1. Herman Wiese (1846 - 1924)was born in Germany and we don't have information before that date. He married Dora Lichwack (1851 - 1927) in 1872. I am looking for information on the family in Germany. My grandfather, William Wiese (1873 -1970), is their oldest child, and in 1895 he married Sophia Anna Boda (1874 - 1963). My father, Harry Alvin Wiese (1895 - 1977), is their oldest child and in 1920 he married Katherine McAleer (1898 - 1980). 2. My name is (Lura) Mae Wiese Dunsing, born in 1937. In 1985 geneology information was collected from relatives mostly in California, Kansas, and Texas. I want to add information to up-date from that time and to get to know some of my relatives better. Your help would be appreciated. 3. The information collected is being shared on Family Tree Maker. 4. PAST REUNIONS: We met in 1985 in California which was sponsored by the children of Harry Wiese (about 75 people). Around 1995, we were hosted in Topeka, Kansas, by the children of Mary Louise Wiese Iwig with the last names of Iwig and Bacon (about 125 people attended). At both of these events, the majority of the people that attended were from California, Kansas, and Texas. |
