Margaret Holmes Duncan 430 47th Street West Palm Beach, FL 33407 duncanm24@aol.com	On Larry's side we are researching the Duncans, Stallings, Barrons and Head families. The earliest Duncan we have found is Willaim Duncan 1815-1890 He married Mary T.(Unknown) 1828-1890. The Stallings' records go back to Richard Coombes, 1653-?, and include Hamiltons, Hills, Calhouns and Raleighs. The Duncans traveled to Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and Florida. James and Mollie Head's daughter, Floria Melvina, 1878-1945, married Samuel Frederick Barron, 1877-1917. They lived in Kentucky. On Peggy's side we have information on the Chase, Baker, Rogers, Holmes, Macon, Crenshaw, McNeill, Flower, and Nutt families. William and Mary Chase (abt. 1600) came to Yarmouth, Mass. from England. Our earliest Holmes,John,(1759)of Plymouth, Mass., married Experience Sampson. In 1819,their son, Oliver (1796-1841) married Jerusha Chase (1797-1841), a Mayflower descendant. In 1867, Charles Miron (1848-1896) married Louisa LeClair (?-1886). Their daughter, Adelina Miron (1879-1974) came to Florida from Michigan and married Lincoln Corlies Holmes (1865-1931). Our Macons date back to Gideon and Martha Woodward (abt. 1648-abt. 1702). Seigniora Macon Martin (1823-1907)married Gen. Daniel Sanford Crenshaw (1865-?) joining the Macons and Crenshaws. A Crenshaw descendant, Margaret Virginia McNeill (1900-1980) married Howard Cook (1898-1965) joining the Cook, Flower, Nutt lilnes. Margaret's granddaughter, Margaret (Peggy) Neill Holmes, married Larry (Larkin) Duncan, joining those families in Florida.
