Notes for VINCENZO FASTIGGI:
He was a tailor in Italy. Everyone was very poor and there was no work for him.
Was in the Royal Army. Played Claranet in the King's Band.
Settled in White Plains and got a job in a men's clothing store until he learned English.
Bought the property on Spring Street. He built three stores and apratment above the stores. They lived in the big house behind the store.
Had a stroke in 1925 (age 63) and couldn't work anymore. He bought the house next door at 20 Spring Street and moved in, renting the other house, which he made into small apartments and was able to live on the rents and took care of Angelina for the rest of her life.

Notes for ANGELA DI CECCA:
When she was 65 she went to visit her sister in Italy, along with Aunt Mae (?) (1933) They didn't realize there was about to be a war. The first night at her brother's house they were visited by The Black Shirts, Hitler's Army and had to go to the police station and sign in and tell why we were visiting
They ran into the Hurricane of 1938 - So maybe she was born in 1873??.
