| I am researching the Dunsmore family. I have traced the family back to George Dunsmore and Margaret Dunsmore (nee Brown). At this point I have only found one son Samuel Brown Dunsmore. I believe he was born in Londonderry Ireland 1804. He married Catherine Cunningham and were living in Londonderry in 1836. They had 5 children, Margaret b 1828, Mary Jane b 1830, Mariah b 1831, William M b 1834 and James b 1836. The family left Ireland from Londonderry/Loch Foyle on 3/June/1837 aboard the ship "Parland" bound for Australia. The ship arrived in Sydney on 3/September/1837. During the voyage to Australlia, Mariah died of consumption she was aged 7 yrs. The family moved to Wollongong south of Sydney and lived in the Illawarra area on Buckhill Farm.
