Duncan/Bain of Texas

Howdy from Texas.......I am researching the Fountain Francis Bain family.......I have always been told by my family that my Great grandmother was Francis COLGAN and a full blood Cherokee born in 1866 who married Fountian Bain born in Maury ,Tenennsee in 1859. They were supposidly the Colgans of Archer city. Then I ran across another research that said Fountian Bain married Anna Baugus of Hill County ,Texas. Any information on these two women would be greatly apppreciated.
The Duncan side goes back to a William Duncan who was said to have been captured in the War of 1812 in New Orleans. He was from Scotland. He died in 1814 in Tennesee.
