Dunham family established in Vermont -- Clinton Dunham - grandfather. He had a brother named Clarence Dunham, who may have resided in Springfield, Massachusetts and worked for a railroad. His sister, Blanch, apparently married William Titus and at the time of the 1900 census was living in South Fairlee, Vermont. Clinton's father was Vergil Dunham and his mother was Martha R. Russlow. (4/28/2001)I now believe Clinton's mother was Martha Rebecca Renslow, not Russlow. I also believe Vergil's father was Sala Gamaliel DUnham.

Clarence Strong - Waitsfield, Vermont - grandfather on mother's side. Oldest relative on the Strong side appears to be William Strong, born in Tandergee, County Armagh, Ireland. He married someone named Margret who was born June 11, 1773 in Tandergee, County Armagh, Ireland, and died June 29, 1871 in Fayston, Vermont, USA.
