[Then moved to NY and came to IL and settled near Edwardsville in 1810, served as a ranger in the War of 1812, moved from Madison Co. in 1824 to Section 30 of Mississippi Twp, Jersey Co., IL. His will was written 3 Aug 1868. ] Orman died 22 Aug 1869 in Otterville, Jersey Co, IL, at 81 years of age. He married Telitha WHITE in Newburn, Madison Co, IL, 23 Jun 1815. [A bible record says 25 June 1815] Telitha was born in SC 8 Oct 1799. Telitha was the daughter of Joseph WHITE and Elisabeth SELF. Telitha died 1 Sep 1876 in Otterville, Jersey Co, IL, at 76 years of age. 2. John BEEMAN was born in Madison Co, IL 30 Jul 1817. John died 3 Oct 1896 in Sherman, Cherokee Co, KS, at 79 years of age. He married Amanda Melvina BLISSIT in Jersey Co, IL, 1 Jan 1857. Amanda was born ca 1837. John BEEMAN and Amanda Melvina BLISSIT had the following children: i. John Perry3 BEEMAN was born in Virden, Macoupin Co, IL 3 Nov 1857. ii. William Burr BEEMAN was born 17 Sep 1858. iii. Charles Edgar BEEMAN was born 10 Dec 1861. iv. Nathaniel Orman BEEMAN was born in Jersey Co, IL 16 Jul 1869. v. Joseph Oscar BEEMAN was born 22 Mar 1872.

Orman Beeman was born May 18, 1788 in Sharon, CT, then moved to NY, and came to IL and settled near Edwardsville in 1810, he served as a ranger in the War of 1812, moved from Madison Co. in 1824 to Section 30 of Mississippi TWP, Jersey Co., and died Aug 22 1869 in Dow, Mississippi TWP. Orman was the son of William Beeman (born May 3 1756 in Kent, CT and died Oct 15 1837, near Vandalia, IL) and Sarah (called "Sally") Campbell. They married in 1781 of 1782. William and Sally lived in Sharon, CT and Plaisted, NY prior to moving to IL. William received a pension Dec 14 1833. Orman was the grandson of John Beeman and Elizabeth Drinkwater. This John Beeman, who enlisted in the Revolutionary War in Kent, CT, died Oct 24 1776 of smallpox and is buried at Kent Hollow Cemetery. He married first on Nov 5 1746 to Sarah Thompson: they had four children. He married second on to Elizabeth Drinkwater and had twelve children, including William. Orman was the great-grandson of Thomas Beeman who married 1712 to Phebe Parke in Preston, CT, moved in 1738 to Kent, CT and died there Nov 15 1750
