Dunn/Marshalsey family

I am just beginning a search of my family name (Marshalsey). I am beginning in Fife, Scotland where I grew up and where the majority of my family still live. I also have information on a Henry and Anne Marshalsey who settled in Barbados from the UK in the 1700's.

Any information anyone may have about the name (it is quite unique and anyone I have ever come accross with the same spelling appears to be related to my family!) would be greatly appreciated....
