My Duncans and Buchanans of all the airts

Our Duncans originated in Fife and migrated to Angus. They were mainly farm workers or building tradesmen. The Buchanans in the family originally lived in East Lothian, then my branch migrated to Lanarkshire. Some were fishermen, but my great grandfather was a potter. There were emigrations to Canada, United States, Australia and New Zealand. The rest is history !!
