4. Adolph³ Kallus (Johan², Anton¹) was born May 29, 1847 in House # 475, Frendstat pod Radhostem, Moravia ²², and died June 08, 1918. He married (1) Josephina Fojtusek²³ May 15, 1877 in Fayette County, Texas ²⁴. She was born Abt. 1860, and died October 22, 1888. He married (2) Marie Beseda December 18, 1890 in Fayette County, Texas.

Notes for Adolph Kallus:
There is some conjecture on when Adolph actually came to the US. He is listed in the census records of Frendstat, Moravia with the rest of the family in December, 1870. There is an Adolf Kallus listed in various databases on the internet as immigrating in 1870. In Fayette County, there is a Declaration for Naturalization filed for an Adolph Kallus that states he immigrated on December 25, 1871. We are not sure if there are one or two Adolph Kallus' who immigrated. There are also two marriages listed in Fayette County.

Colorado County Cemeteries Volume 1 has a listing for Adolph Kallus, b. 1853 d June 8, 1918 and buried in St Mary's Cemetery, Nada, Colorado County, Texas.

We also have a note from a conversation with Kay Potter that there is an Adolph Kallus buried in New Taiton, Wharton County, Texas (New Taiton is SE of Nada; both are on Hwy 71). She gave no dates for this Adolph Kallus.

Kay Potter says there is a death record in Wharton County, Texas that states Adolph's parents are John & Aanna Kallus.

Notes for Julia Wiesner:
We believe that Julia and her kids moved to McLennan County between 1900-1903. She and her children were shown on the 1900 Colorado County census. A deed for land purchase was recorded in McLennan County on October 30, 1903. She purchased the land in her own name from B.B. Ingraham. The deed is recorded in McLennan County, Texas in book 149, page 241. The lien was released by Scottish American Mort Co on December 30, 1909 filed in book 211, page 298 in McLennan County, Texas.

In addition, she bought land from R.J. Marak on November 15, 1921 and this is recorded in book 332, page 98 in McLennan County, Texas. The release of the lien was filed December 12, 1924 and is recorded in book 359, page 481 in McLennan County, Texas.

In 1906, her daughter Anna was married in McLennan County.

We believe Julia's husband, Alois, is buried in Ellinger, Texas and they moved here after he died.
