Notes for LUELLA DURHAM: Elwood Call-Leader 28 Jun 1943 Obituary Aged Resident Dies Sunday Evening Mrs. Luella Huntsinger, 70, wife of William Huntsinger, 1517 North E street, died at her home Sunday evening, 6:30 o'clock of complications following an illness of three months. Born November 27, 1873, in Tipton county, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Durham. She was a member of the Baptist church, Royal Neighbors and the Women's Relief Corps. She married William Huntsinger July 1, 1941. She was a resident of Elwood for several years. Survivors are the husband William, a foster daughter Mrs. Martha Bricker of Indianapolis, and a granddaughter, Patsy Ruth Bricker of Indianapolis, two brothers, Ellsworth Durham of Tipton and William Durham of Kokomo. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock from the United Brethren church with the pastor, Rev. L. D. G. Wertz in charge. Burial will follow in the City cemetery. The body was taken to the Jackley Funeral home and will be returned to the residence this evening. |

Notes for WILLIAM HUNTSINGER: ----------------------- Elwood Call-Leader. Saturday 12 Jan 1957. Obituary. William S. Huntsinger Dies Following Two-Year Illness William S. Huntsinger, 81, 1821 South F street, died Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock of complications following an illness of two years. Born Nov. 25, 1875 in Camden, he was the son of William Isaac and Henrietta Huntsinger. He was married in 1897 to Miss Emma Havens. She died Sept. 2, 1936. He was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania railroad and also of the R. J. Leeson and Sons company. He was a member of First Methodist church and the Eagles Lodge. Survivors include five children, Ray of Toledo, Ohio; Cedric C., William L., and George G., all of Elwood; a daughter, Mrs. James "Lenabell" Stotlemeyer of Lemon Grove, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. J. C. Trask of San Jose, Calif., 23 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The body is at the Clark Chapel where friends may call Sunday.
