I am researching the Dwyer family of Rochester, New York and Canandaigua, New York. The first names that I have are Patrick and Mary Dwyer. They were born in Tipperary, Ireland in 1789. They had six children: Michael(1832)married Mary Melvil in Niagara Falls in 1855. They had six children who survived until adulthood: Michael Francis"Frank" (1855), James R. (1860) married Catherine Powers (1891 in Canandaigua, NY)their children:Mary Margaret and Joseph Leo, Mary Jane (1863), Thomas Agustus (1866), Margaret Anne (1869) had child, Milton Charles Jordan(later changed to William James Dwyer) with Bert Jorden (1892in Rochester, NY), William Joseph (1871) married Catherine Rapp (Rochester, NY 1897?). Their children: Walter Michael, Mary Ellen, Clarence Francis, and William Joseph Jr. .


Margaret married John Murray in Canandaigua, NY. Children: Thomas P.,William D., Mary F., Elizabeth J.
