The first Dziatkiewicz's of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, arrived in America during the early 20th century. Some entered through the ports of Ellis Island, Baltimore, New York and serveral others. Those immigrants being my Great-Great Grandfather Theofil Dziatkiewicz and a few of his children: Francis(my great grandfather) , Stephen, Anthony, Joanna, and Veronica. There is a branch of the Dziatkiewicz family which entered the US through Canada and settled on the East Coast of the US and have been found in several places around the country. According to my research thus far, that branch is no relation to the Dziatkiewicz's of this homepage. However, it should be noted that the Dziatkiewicz name is not that popular in Poland. Only further research can determine wheather there is an actual link between those branches. If you happen to be a Dziatkiewicz either past or present of Milwaukee or anywhere in the state of Wisconsin, chances are highly likely that these are your ancestors as well as mine. I will update this site as my research and free time dictates. If any information appears to be incorrect or incomplete please do not hesitate to email me, so I can correct the error/s.
