WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY HOME PAGE

The family information found on these pages are the result of 35+ years of personal research with an abundance of documentation. It also includes material gleaned over the years from other families; some related, some not. Some of the extra data may not be documented, but will at least give you some family clues.

Over the years, Charlie & I have traveled across the United States visiting courthouses, cemeteries, libraries and many relatives in an attempt to 'connect the dots' and rewalk the steps of our ancestors.

At some point I will also post some of the actual documents we have located along with some of the earlier family photos. If you have any data you would like to share, please feel free to contact me at 'ronna8@alltel.net'.

Most of our ancestors migrated to America from Germany & Switzerland, coming west through Pennsylvania and Virginia, into central & southern Ohio and westward. Take a look at the Reports; maybe you'll find some connections. Yours in genealogy, Ronna & Charlie

Family Photos

  • Nicholas BADER Land Patent (176 KB)
Land Patent received from Thomas Jefferson, President of the United States of America. The land was located in the NW Quarter of Section Number Twenty Three of Township Number 16 in Range Number Nineteen. Basil, Liberty Twp. Fairfield County, Ohio
  • Aerial view of EYMAN Farm, Alexandria, Ohio (34 KB)
Pictured is an aerial view of the farm owned by Ronald Eyman & Alice (Heskett). This was taken in late 1950's near Alexandria, Ohio. Most of the outbuildings with the exception of the corncrib and milkhouse are now gone. A good March wind will probably take down what's left of the old bank barn. In the upper left was an old apple orchard; supposedly one of those trees had been planted by Johnny Appleseed. Directly behind the barn is what was left of the old elm that was destroyed by the "elm blight". The house is probably about 200 years, Cape Cod style.
