| The primary names I am researching are: Fort from New Jersey and Iowa. The last Fort I have been able to find is Benjamin Fort from Burlington, New Jersey. He moved to Davenport, Iowa for a number of years and then went back to New Jersey, where he died in 1871. My search has ended there.With the Fort line I am also researching Kennedy, Hill, and Remine.I am researching the Sehnert family from Rock Island, Illinois.they came here from Prussia about 1853. With that line are the names Eckhardt.I am researching the family of Fennell and Kane also from Illinois who came over from Ireland about 1854 or 55. Patrick Fennell and Mary Kane married June 7, 1858.I do have quite a bit of information on most of the people named above and I am very willing to share. Hopefully someone else is searching the same lines. |
