Notes for Adam Stumm: He ran a pretty nice tavern serving good food at 265 Genesee near Ash Streets. It seems likely that Adam and his younger brother Willie operated the tavern together in 1889. Though it may be that William owned it and Adam ran it.
Death Cause Due to Complications of Diabetes. He cut a toe that didn't heal. Doctor cut middle toe off while sitting in a chair in the house on High Street. His leg was later Amputated in German Hospital on Jefferson Street. He died within the month.
