In the Name of God Amen. The twenty fourth Day of July OneThousand Seven Hundred & Fifty Six, I Daniel Morrison of Wellsin the County of York in the Province of the Massachusetts Bayin New England Yeoman, being aged & infirm in Body, but ofperfect Mind & Memory, Thanks be to God for it, Calling to Mindmy own Mortality, and knowing that it is appointed to Man onceto die Do make & ordain this my last Will & Testamt, that is toSay, principally & first of all, I recommend my Soul into yeHands of God who gave it, and my Body to ye Earth to be buriedin decent Christian Burial at ye Discretion of my Executorshereafter named, nothing doubting but at ye GeneralResurrection I Shall receive the Same again by the mighty Powerof God, And as touching Such Worldly Estate wherewith it hathpleased God to bless me in this Life I bequeath & dispose of theSame in ye Form & Manner following Vizt. Impr. My Will & Desire is, that all my Just & lawful Debts beduly & honestly paid by my Executrs hereafter named, and thatthey be paid out of my moveable Estate. Item. I give & bequeath unto my beloved Son Daniel Morrison TenShillings lawful Money, besides what I have already given himto be paid by my Execrs within Six Months after my Decease. Item. I give & bequeath unto my beloved Son Nathan LittlefeildMorrison ten Shillings lawful Money besides what I have alreadygiven him to be paid by my Execrs within Six Months after myDecease. Item. I give & bequeath unto my beloved Son Joseph Morrison tooacres of fresh Meadow at ye Elmn Brook so called in Wellsbesides what I have already given him. Item I give & bequeath unto my beloved Daughter Hannah Allen tenShillings lawful Money besides what I have already given her tobe paid by my Executrs within Six Months after my Decease. Item. I give & bequeath unto my beloved Grandson Iohn RoyallBaston Son of my beloved Daughter Eleoner Baston late Decd fivepounds lawful Money to be paid unto him by my Executrs when hearrives to the Age of twenty one Years. Item. I give & bequeath unto my beloved Daughter Lydia Kimballten Shillings lawful Money besides what I have already givenher to be paid by my Executrs within Six Months after myDecease. I give & bequeath unto my beloved Daughter Abigail Maxwell tenShillings lawful Money besides what I have already given her tobe paid by my Executors within Six Months after my Decease. Item. I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Morrison Eightpounds lawful Money to be paid her by my Executors within SixMonths after my Decease. Item. I give & bequeath unto my beloved Daughter Tabitha Stewartten Shillings lawful Money besides what I have already givenher to be paid by my Executrs within Six Months after myDecease. Item. I give & bequeath unto my beloved Son Samuel Morrison andhis Heirs forever all my Homestead containing Sixty Acresbounded Southeasterly by ye Head of ye old Lots, Northeasterlyby Land of Thomas Penny, Northwesterly partly by Land of JosephMorrison Southwesterly by Land Seperated for a High Wayadjoining Land of Daniel Morrison junr with ye Sixteenth partof the Upper Saw Mill & Stream on Maryland River so called withthe Common Right belonging to the Homestead, togather with mydwelling House & Barn Buildings & Fences on the Homestead: Only& Specially reserving to my Well beloved Wife Eleoner Morrisonduring her natural Life ye Improvemt of One half of my House &one half of my Barn, and half of the Improvement of myHomestead, And half ye Improvemt of ye Saw Mill, and half theImprovemt of the fresh Meadow, and after my Said Wife's Deceaseto be to my Said Son Samuel Morrison, And to Heirs & Assignsforever. Item I give & bequeath unto my beloved Wife Eleoner Morrison andto her Heirs & Assigns forever One Tract or parcel of Landcontaining Thirty Acres, be it more or less being thirty Rodsin Breadth bounded Northwesterly by ye Country RoadSouthwesterly by Land of Joseph Gatchel Southeasterly by yehead of ye old Lots Northeasterly by Land of Daniel Morrisonjunr together with all my Debts & moveable Estate within Doors &without of every Sort excepting what Shall or may be for payingall Legacys and Debts. I also give & bequeath unto my Sdbeloved Wife during her natural Life, ye Improvemt of one halfof my dwelling House & one half of ye Barn, and one half of theImprovemt of my Homestead, and one half of ye Improvemt of theSaw Mill & fresh Meadow during her Said natural Life. I do hereby nominate Constitute & appoint my well beloved WifeElenor Morrison & my beloved Son Saml Morrison of Wells in theCounty of York Labourer to be the Sole Executrix & Executor ofthis my last Will & Testamt and I do hereby revoke & disannulall other & former Wills & Testamts by me made, and do herebyRatify & Confirm this & no other to be my last Will & TestamtIn Witness where of I have hereunto Set my Hand & Seal the Day& Year above written.
