1. ANDREW HENRY *³ EATON (ROBERT ADAMS *², THOMAS *¹) was born September 20, 1851 in CARROLTON, PICKENS, AL, USA, and died January 04, 1912. He married (1) JOHNNIE ELIZABETH EDNA * CALLEY January 26, 1887, daughter of JOHN CALLEY and MARY WILLIAMS. He married (2) CORA EMMA JANE SPENCE September 17, 1908.

Co.) states thar Andrew Henry Eaton was born 20 Sep 1851 and died 4 Jan 1912.
The gravestone for Andrew Henry gives birth year as 1852 and death year as
1911.The death year must be 1912 rather than 1911 as there are land documents
signed by A. H. Eaton and his wife, Jennie, in September and October of 1911.
The 1910 Federal Census for Pickens Co, Al. gives Andrew Henry's age as
53. This would make his birth year abt. 1857(this cannot be correct). The 1900
Federal Census staes his bithdate as Sep 1853. The 1870 Federal Census list
Andrew Henry as 18 years old and living with his mother and step-father,
Jonathan Prude. This enumeration was done 5 August 1870. If Andrew Henry's
birthday was 20 Sep then on 20 Sep 1870 he would have been 19 years old. This
would make his birth year 1851 as stated in the Bible record.

Jonathan Prude and Lydia Prude conveyed to Robert Eaton and A. H. Eaton a
270 acre parcel of land in the western part of Pickens Co. for the sum of
$600, 12 December 1873. The deed recorded 2 September 1889.
(Lydia Prude was the mother of Robert and A.H. Eaton by her first husband,
Robert Adams Eaton. This parcel of land would be the site of the home of the A.
H. Eaton family. Robert Eaton would never marry. A. H. Eaton would be the only
descendent of Robert Adams and Lydia Eaton to have children. This property has
largely remained in the Eaton family until the present day,1997).
