Researching James M Beavers, b 1804 in Virginia. Listed on the 1830 Georgia census and married Elizabeth Giil of South Carolina in 1836 in Clarke County Georgia.They had the following children:Timothy, b 1837Calvin, b 1839Alfred, b 1842Elizabeth, b 1845Sarah Ann, b 1847William, b 1858Calvin, Timothy, and Alfred served in the Confederate Army.Calvin married Martha Blair and had Charles, b 1861, Francis, b 1865; Ira, b 1868, Margaret, b 1869. He married Cinthia Williamson in 1874 and they had James R, b 1878 and Louis C, b 1884. Calvin died in 1905 a few months after Cinthia. I have not found his burial location yet.Ira is listed on the 1910 census in Ware County, Ga with wife, Sarah, and daughter Annie Fulcher and her husband William.Louis C married Lilly Cross and they are listed in the Clarke county 1910 census with daughter Mary, age 7.I would be willing to share any information with others researching this family and would be very happy to discover further connections to James M. I have not yet been able to connect him to ancestors in Virginia.
