The Will of Jesse James, Dec.

In the name of God, Amen, I Jesse James of Braxton County State of West Virginia, being of sound mind and
memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void
all former wills by me at any time before made,

First- I order and direct my Executor as soon after my decease as practical to pay off and discharge all the debts,
dues and liabilities if any that may exist against me at the time of my decease,

Second- I order and direct that if in my affliction I should become helpless, that my son or daughters in whose case I
may fall for protection or assistance may be resonably remunerated for their services in waiting on and caring for me
in my helplesness,

Third- I give and bequeath unto my daughter Melvina Duffield on sixth of all my estate both real and personal after
the above requirements of this will being first fulfilled and carried out by my Executor,

Fourth- I give and bequeath unto my daughter Lucinda Young on sixth of all my estate both real and personal,

Fifth- I give and bequeath unto the heirs of my daughter Virginia Frame deceased, one sixth of all my estate both
real and personal to be divided equally between Curtis and Martha Frame and heirs at law of my daughter Virginia
Frame deceased,

Sixth- I give unto my son Wm. James one sixth of all my estate both real and personal,

Seventh- I give and bequeath unto my daughter Louise Given one sixth of all my estate after deducting from her
portion of the estate one note or bond amounting to $65.00 which I hold against Samuel F. Given husband of my
daughter Louisa, I further require that no interest be collected on said note or bond,

Eighth- I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Ann James one sixth of all my estate both real and personal
after first deducting from her portion of the estate one note or bond amounting to $60.00 sixty dollars which I hold
agains Silas James, husband of Elizabeth Ann James. I further require that no interest be collected on said note or
bond. I further require my Executor to sell all my real estate and divide the proceeds as alloted in this will.

Ninth- I hereby nominate and appoint my son William James, Executor of this my last Will and Testament and
require no bond of him as such Executor in witness there of I have hereunto subscribed my name this 11th day of
October A.D. 1878
