      In a letter from Ginny Davenport Garcznski (Norristown, PA) dated 29 Aug 2002:
Information forwarded to me by a friend states that Hiram Hulmes testified on an affidavit submitted by Mary Davenport regarding the competency of her husband Abraham L. Davenport. The date of the affidavit was 19 May 1842. Hiram also testified that he was a neighbor.

I just got a letter from a Carol Rush that was inquiring about the Hulmes Family so I was doing some checkin and found your Genealogy. My husband's Mother was Madelene Hulmes the daughter of Harry who was the son of Daniel, (11/1827) and son of Hiram and Mary Hulmes. I noticed that you didn't have him listed.
