Descendants of Benjamin, David, and Hugh Edaburn (also sometimes spelled as Edenburn, Edinburn, Eddyburn) who left Scotland in 1738 for America. My greatgrandfather, Benjamin J. Edaburn was born in Guernsey Co., Ohio on May 01, 1841, and served in Company "I", 81st Regiment of Ohio Infantry VOLUNTEERS from August 08, 1862 until July 13, 1865, but I have no information on ancestors that preceded him. Also Henry Bishop, born in Pennsyvania, 1723 or so, moved to West Virgnia then to Ohio and married Katherine Strawyer.
