| I have recently started to gather together information on my recent family history. The Edens set off from Bitterne near Southampton in the late 1800s, stopped off at Stoke on Trent and ended up in Leeds where my grandfather married Lily Clay. A cousin of my father has done some research into the Clay side of the family. My mothers maiden name is Hudson. My grandfather was from a large farming family based near Lake Windermere which was then in Lancashire. |
