Carol Edgehill carol.edgehill@blueyonder.co.uk	I am researching my family tree and would like any information about ancestors/decendants of the following people or any help or advice. I particularly need help with the WOODS line. GEORGE THOMAS WOODS, my great grandfather, born about 1862/3 in Heath & Reach, Leighton Buzzard, Beds. He was probably adopted and his birth surname was SMITH. His birth father may have been JOHN C. SMITH. He may had a sister MARY who possibly later lived in Barrow in Furness and then Northampton. He married RUTH NORMAN and later worked as a gardener for Queen Victoria in Kensington Gardens. Also the HAYMAN family can only be traced back to SIMON MICHAEL HAYMAN of BRISTOL who was born in 1813 in GERMANY or AUSTRIA and was thought to be JEWISH. The family name when in Germany?Austria was thought to be HEMANN or something similar. Any ideas? Any SHARMAN descendants with connections to Cogenhoe and villages in Northampton area or the Rugby/Coventry areas Lastly any EDGEHILLS or similar spellings out there with connections to Birmingham, Gloucester or Utah.
