| I am doing research into the Clarence Tracy family. Clarence was my grandfather and he was married to Grace Andrus. My family doesn't know much about their background and I have gotten a lot of mixed up information. It is believed that they came over from Ireland but no one seems to know when. There is also a story floating around that my great-grandfather who's name is Lou, was married to a full blooded Cherokee Indian. However, what little I have turned up doesn't prove this. It is possible that it was my great-great Grandfather. If you have any information about the Tracy's I would love to hear it. It seems that my family was in the Missouri/Illinois area, after 1910 and in Kentucky before then. |
