The Will and Testament of Samuell Jackson, sonne of Mr. Edmund Jackson
late of Boston [in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury].
I doe comit my body to the earth from whence it came and my soule unto
God Almighty the father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Next I doe freely give
unto my loving brother Nathaniell Jackson sonne to my father Edmond Jackson
the summe of five pounds of good and law full money which was left me by
my uncle Mr. John Storie at his death which was due unto me the fifteenth
day of March last past in the yeare of our Lorde God one thousand sixe hundred
fortie one and the seaventeenth yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord
King Charles And was to be paid me by Mrs. Millicent Storie wife to Mr. John
Storie whome he left his Executor and I doe freely give unto my sister Sarah
Jackson daughter to my father Mr. Edmund Jackson the summe of eight pounds
of goods and lawfull money of England Three pound being left of a legacie
of Tenn pounds which was given me at the death of my grandfather Mr. Robert
Story due to me the fifteenth day of March last and five pounds which was
given me by the will of my Grandmother Mrs. Elizabeth Storie wift to Mr.
Robert Storie which was left to be paid by my uncle Storie sonne to the sayd
Robert and Elizabeth Storie due to me the fifteenth of March aforesayd but
with a provisoe that the sayd Sarah paye unto John Perrott Cittizen and Marchant
taylor of London who liveth in Abchurch land in the parish of St. Nicholas
Acons the summe of twentie shillings which I borrowed of him for my owne
use and I doe give unto my brother Elisha Jackson sonne to my father Mr.
Edmund Jackson the summe of twenty shillings to be paid unto him or whome
he shall appointe at the receipt of the foresayd money And I doe likewise
give to my Sister Mary now Mary Woodward living in Boston in new England
the summe of twentie shillings to be paid to her or her childe or to my brother
Elisha if in case shee should dye soe likewise if my brother Elisha should
dye before the receipt thereof to fall to my sister Mary Jackson And if they
both dye to fall to my sister Sarah And this is my will and free disposeing
of that which I have after my departure out of this life In witness whereof
I have set my hand and seale this seaventh day of August one thousand sixe
hundred forty two
