Charles W. Pardridge, 1844-1912 was son of Anson Pardridge 1804-1877 and Amanda Field 1804-1890 and brother of Anson Pardridge 1830-1912. He and his brother Edwin were merchants in Chicago who were burned out in the Great Chicago Fire and rebuilt their stores in downtown Chicago.
