Our daughter is Tracy Lynn Edwards. We live in Eastland, Texas. On my side of the family we are currently researching the following surnames. CHEW, CRIDER, DUNNING, DURBIN, EDWARDS, JENNINGS, LAFORGE, LIGHT, PARKER, SATTERWHITE, WYTHE. On Menota's side we are researching the ASHBY, BAKER, BREEDLOVE, FIELDS, HERNDON, SMITH, SPRATLEN surnames. The time table for the Criders, Durbins, Edwardses, and Satterwhites is the early to mid 1800's and up to the present time. I am especially looking for information on Robert L. EDWARDS who married Nancy Elizabeth SATTERWHITE about 1851. Possibly in AR or LA. Nancy was the daughter of Paul SATTERWHITE and Katherine "Kitty" POWELL. When Robert died in 1857 Nancy remarried to Samuel Washington DUNNING in Jan of 1858 in Arkansas. After the Civil War the Dunning family removed to Texas where they settled and raised their family. The family included four of Roberts children. James T. born 1851 in AR. Martha Malvina born 1853 TX. William Dempsey born 1854 in TX and Benjamin born 1856 TX.
