| I am currently in the process of researching my family history for the Harms, Schapansky, Worms and Weber lines. The Harms and Schapansky's were among the first Mennonites to come to Canada in the 1870's from Russia. I have found many of my ancestors name son the church registries in Manitoba. They then later immigrated to Saskatchewan from Manitoba. The Weber's Immigrated from Germany around 1852, I have not verified this information as of yet. The lived in Ledgerwood, N.D. I am in the process of searching for there immigration records. In 1904 Catherine Worms and Lawrence Weber enigrated to Canada. They settled in Marysburg, Saskatchewan. There will be a family reunion for the Lawrence Weber and Appalonia Worms children in Humboldt, Saskatchewan in the summer of 2001. It will take place at Walsea Lake, near Humbolt and Marysburg (family homestead). Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share my finds. Thanx. Cyndi |
