| My search of the Edwards Family was a very rewarding experience. Locating my Grandfather "Frank Opry"was very exiciting,and then to find that my Grandmother Lorian Opry Edwards had three sisters and a brother made all the time I spent very worthwhile. Several of the Edwards men were in law enforcement at various times during there life, including my Grandfather Stephen Frank Edwards the Sheriff of Gadsden County Florida. Sheriff Stephen Frank Edwards was honored on Saturday, May 13,2000 at the 12th. Annual Candlelight Vigil,at Judiciary Square Washington D.C. National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Honoring Peace Officers Killed in the Line of duty. By President Clinton and Attorney General Janet Reno. |
