Welcome to the James Edwards home page which features the history and genealogy of my ancestors. A great deal of research and work has gone into this project and I hope that you will enjoy your trip down memory lane and the history of past and present generations. Our family has a wounderful history and has contributed greatly to our local governments i.e, Acworth, Canton, Cobb County & Cherokee County including Scotland & Ireland and Society as a whole. It is my hope that after reviewing our historical past that each family member will have an enhanced pride in your ancestorial heritage.
I invite each of you to to review the information provided and if you can contribute further to the information presented please contact me. This is a work in progress. As information is discovered and contributions of additional information are received from family members I will add it to our historical and genealogy records.
In the immediate future I plan to have a book printed on our history and our genealogy. I have also made a cd of all the historical & geneology information assembled. I do not wish to distribute cds to family members untill I have received all the biographies and information from the family members who have made commitments in providing additional data. I also have made a audio/video pictorial cd with appropriate background music of all the pictures, newspaper articles etc. etc. that I have assembled from family members which I feel certain you will enjoy. The cds will be available to family members in the near future. Your help and contributions to this effort is greatly appreciated.
