The Edwards / Harrell Family Home Page

I am researching the Edwards family. The earliest we can go back is to Thomas Edwards Sr. who was born in 1690. One of his sons Thomas Jr., born July 7, 1723 in what is now Manhatten Island, New York. He was married to Elizabeth Downing. One of Thomas Jr's children, William can traced to the present. We have a good bit of information on the Edwards family in North Carolina and Maryland. Other family names we are researching are: Chappel, Burcham, Byrd, Gentry, Holbrook, and many more too numerous to mention.I am also researching the Hicks family. The earliest we can go back is to John Prater Hicks, born in 1852. He was married to Eunice Victoria Edwards (unknown if a relation), born in 1853. They had eight children only one of which we have been able to trace to the present. Other connected family names are: Browne & Duffy both from Ireland, and Rhodes.My wife Elizabeth is researching her family the Harrell's from Mississippi and Louisiana area. Other family names we are researching are: Bellue, Crawford, Kirkland, Carraway, Chunn, Mathews, and Williams.Eliz is also researching her mothers family the Snyder's from the Mississippi and Louisiana area, and possibly in the North Carolina area. Other family names we are researching are: Freeman, Moak, Whittington, Wallace, Reeves, Bateman, Kyzar, Price, and Lawrence.Any information would be appreciated. I am willing to share the information that I have.
