I am researching the EDWARDS family of Angelina Co. Texas. My Grandfather was Tilton Bennett Edwards, he married Mary Rebbecca AINSWORTH. Her parents were William Ainsworth, and Jane ADAMS of MS. My great grandfather Bennett S. Edwards is listed as head of houshold in the 1900 Census of Angelina Co. He had been married to Arbie Zena PROTHRO for seven years in 1900. Bennetts' father was Silas J. Edwards, of Haywood Co. Tenn. He and his wife Mary Honor FREEMAN settled in Callahan Co., Texas in 1877, and are buried there, together, in Burnt Branch Cem. Mary's dad was Alex. Silas's parents were William Edwards, and Lavinia NORVILLE, both of N.C. Lavinias' parents were Hardy Norville, and Sarah Unknown.
I am also researching the WARNER family of Texas. Cynthia's Grandfather was Horace Ormand Warner, her grandmother Laura Evelyn BURK, of Iowa. Laura's parents were Thomas Burk, of Ireland, and Evelyn DYKE. Horace Ormand Warners' parents were Arthur Warner, and Patsy PARLEE.
