| I am researching the Newsom/Newsome family from VA, NC, & GA. Simon Newsom was the 2nd great gramdson of William Newsom, the immigrant. He married Chloe Williams/Williamson on June 26,1764 in NC and they had one known son Kincheon/Kinchen Newsom. In addition, I'm researching the Williams/Williamson line. Chloe was born around 1745, most likely in Bertie or Edgecombe County, NC. I believe her parents were George Williams & Chloe "Pricilla" Thomas but am having great difficulty in proving this. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
