Married ca. 1845/46, She d. Dec.17,1854 ,aged 31 yrs. and is buried in the Pecatonica Cemetery in Pecatonica,Winnebago, Il. His second marriage was to Cordelia Shields, daughter of Nelson S. Shields and Elizabeth, on 5 Mar.1857 in Rockford,Winnebago, Il. Cordelia died ca. 1895. John had 3 children by Kezia-James Dell, John Henry, and Mary Jane. John had 6 children with Cordelia-William Wallace(my ancestor), Ella Mae, George W., Adda, Nelson S., & Joseph.
