| I am currently researching the Edwards Family from Guernsey some of whom were evacuated from Guernsey at the start of the Second World War and never returned. Clifford charles daniel Edwards brn 5/2/1904 mrd Edna m. Ross brn 1/11/1900 mrd 8/2/1928. both brn & mrd in Guernsey children 3 brn in Guernsey Gordon f. brn 7/23/1928 Joan e. brn 10/30/1929 Raymond s. brn 1/11/1931 Clifford moved to Southampton prior to 1939 so the family grapevine says to work for a fuel company possibly Esso. Frank Edwards was last heard of in Felton Middlesex left army in 1949 and moved to Hounslow , Middlesex Also any information on 4 Purkiss girls brn in Guernsey 1893 to 1898. Any information would be appreciated and I would be only to pleased to share what information I have. |
