George Edwards came here from England sometime around 1828-1853. He died in Jonesboro GA in 1864 in action as a Union Soldier. He left behind a widow, Elizabeth Jones Edwards and 6 children. It has been very interesting researching our family history. I hope that this information will help anyone who is interested in learning more about their Edwards roots. We will be having a reunion August 25, 2001 at 1pm. At Village Park in South Zanesville, Ohio. Any information that you may have that would add to our family history would be appreciated.
