Abraham Holmes, Early County, Georgia

I am researching the Holmes family from Early County, Georgia. Abraham Holmes first appears in the 1870 census, but I don't know where he was before that. He married Sitara Brown in 1869 and they had seven daughters: Elizabeth, Isabella, Aquilla, Daisy, Mariah, Mattie and Bessie and three sons: Wesley,John,Amos,and Samuel.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
