Obituary "Newark Courier" dated 28 Feb 1907: "Joseph S. Fountain died Wednesday night at the home of his dau, Mrs. Charles Hickey, aged 77 years. Mr. Fountain was born at Wells, NY. He was married at Bristol, where he lived for many years. He came here to live with his dau, twelve years ago. He is survived by two sons and three daughters.

Joseph S. Fountain, record of death at Newark, Wayne Co, NY aged 76y 8m, heart trouble and senility.
