| My family comes from a very diverse background--as do most Americans. My initial purpose was to prove my Cherokee ancestry. Both of my parents have grandparents or great grandparents that are full-blood Cherokee. The surnames include Star, Starr, Starnes, Shaffer, Pentegast(or Pendegrass,etc.). They were originally from North Carolina but traveled eventually to Texas. |
