The Egner (England and Germany) and Hewitson (Staffs) TreeUpdated May 20, 2004 | |
| I have researched the Egner family back to mid C17 in Wuerttemberg through Georg Heinrich Egner who emigrated to London in 1868 setting up a Pork Butcher business in the East End. I have a list of 'Egner's appearing in the Births, Marriages, Deaths register from mid C19 into the C20, plus info from 1881 and 1901 census. I have also researched back the following ancestry lines: Wel(l)broo/ck Wood Kirby from Middlesex/London Faulk(e)s/Shappard in Nottinghamshire Reeves in Northants Bailey in Leicestershire Rowitt and Jackson in Lincolnshire Hewitson in Staffordshire and Cumberland Marchant, Thompson, Hollingsworth, Owen, Beach, Hammond, Dudley, Humpage, Leadbetter, London, Young, etc in Staffordshire. I am keen to find out more information and to share what information I have! |
