Marney Ehmke Johnston, Hale, & Gay

Updated July 25, 2001

Today is July 25, 2001. I'm in hot pursuit of information about the latter half of nineteenth century Chicago. My Grand Uncle, Henry Lord Gay, was an Architect and designed the First Congrgational Church of Chicago, an edifice that gained incredible notariety as a landmark of the conflagration. His sister, Elizabeth Lord Gay, married John Johnston, another pioneer family in Chicago.

If you email me, please put the notation FAMILY TREE INFO in the Subject line. I have an incredible aversion to spam and delete, unopened, email from unknown sources.

(Stolen from Danny Kaye but I don't think he's gonna miss it.)
