My grandfather Carl Johan Eide came to the USA in 1876 from Nordfjord Eide Norway where he was born on April 7,1867 and at the age of nine he came to the USA In 1896 and married Helen Louise Holven in Black River Falls Wisc then moved to La Crosse Wisc the same year
Helen louise Holven was born in Hegg, Tremealeau Co Wisc on Jan 8,1870
Her parents Lars and Ingeborg Holven came to the USA in 1867 with a 8 children they had one set of twins one died on the boat coming from norway to the usa
they settled in Tremealeau County Wisc where they had 2 more children born to them
Carl and Helen had 5 chrildren 4 boys and one girl Irene-Palmer-Oswald-cornell-Harold
all born in La Cross Wisc but moved to Beach ND where they raised them
My dad Harold Eide married Patricia Hanson

Maynard Hanson my other grandfather (i don't know to much about him but he did work for the railroad) was married to Irene Sommerville and they had 2 children both girls
Patricia my mother and Margaret
His father came from Norway and his father had 3 children Maynard -Stella-Eva

The other people i am looking for are---Overman-Simpson-Morrall-Skorjeim-Vollum-Rosenfeld--- and others linking to them and i well add more names as i start to get more information

Places they may have come from are -----Norway-scotland- Ireland-England-Germany--Russia---Canada-and many other places


My purpose for all this is that i would like to write a family tree for all my relatives that i can reach
And to make it in book form to pass down from one generation to another so that every one well know what a wonderfull family we all are and from where we came from
If i can get some information on anything like family stories,personal stories,family medical history like what illness that ran in the family (so that future generations well know when a health crisis comes along they might be able to find out more about it)--Family stuff,Chrildren,grandchildren,married dates,brith dates,death dates, if they came from another county where and when, and anything else i can get my hands on
I well pass it on to anyone that wants it and if i recive stores or pictures or other kinds of information i well post it on the home page if i get there ok
So far i have found a lot of relitives on the internet and its been a joy meeting them and talking with them
But so far i have never meet any of them in person although i hope to some day
So if any of you care to write or send me anything it would be wonderfull

  my sister vickie had put her daughter up for adoption when she was born and this year she had found her her name is Micheal Marshal and she looks just like her mother and at the end of this month she hopes to meet her for she has already got to grather with her other new relitives and one day i hope to meet her too
