I am researching several branches of my family tree, including my great-grandfather, William Ambrose Bramlett, who was born in Arkansas on October 1, 1862. He may have been adopted or orphaned, and I have heard that he was "the only child of an only child." With his wife Margaret Tennessee Mullen, they gave life to a brood that continues a close relationship today, four generations later. Most of the family migrated to Florida, where William and Tennie lived until they died and where much of the family remains. I am also researching the ancestors of my grandfather, Archie O. Howdeshell. He haled from Missouri but eventually moved to Florida, where he married my grandmother, Inez Bramlett (daugher of William and Tennie Bramlett). |
