We have traced our ancestor, Olof Nilsson, to Sweden in 1657. The tree data for our Swedish branch was researched by a relative who traveled to Sweden and researched the family history in the village church. This study concentrates on our common ancestors Nils Johan Eklund and his wife Wandla Johanna Johansdotter. The couple migrated to the USA in 1866 with their five children. The last two of their seven children were born in Minnesota. The second generation names include Eklund, Engdahl, Youngdahl and Olson. |
