My name is Roger and I have recently started (October 2000)a genealogy search trying to answer questions about my family. I would appreciate any help that you may be able to provide. It appears that the Farnsworth's and Tippens I have traced (1800's)started in the Brooke County, WV and Belmont County,Ohio area's. They relocated into the area's of Monroe County, Ohio and Tyler County, WV (Tippens) and Washington County, Ohio (Farnsworth). My first record of Barnhart's (1829)originate out of Washington County, Ohio also. The Elder line (1870)while found in Washington County, Ohio, had to originate from another Ohio County. The Barnhart's and Elder's relocated into West Virginia, residing in the immediate area of Pleasants County. I have received much help from other genealogy researchers, and numerous distant relatives, that until I started my research, never knew existed. I greatly appreciate all the assistance from all that have provided me with information! |
