She was born 1808 in East Wheatfield Twp Indiana Co. PA, and died Unknown.

There is a Thomas R Elder who enlisted in Iowa. He listed his home as Morengo, Iowa Co. Iowa. Enlisted 8 Sept 1862 as Private and age 54. He died from disease in Rock Island Ill. 12 May 1864 and is buried in National Cemetery, Rock Island, Ill. Mustered out Oct 31, 1862. D Co. 37th Inf. Reg. IA.
